This week we presented our research, findings, and the direction and next steps for our projects moving forward.

I really honed in on what I wanted to communicate and how I wanted to design for that information.
WEEK 6
REFINE
PAGE MAP
I reorganized my page maps in a way that I feel will make more sense from start to finish throughout the magazine.

I also began sketching them out so that I could better visualize what things might look like. I started to frame the pages but realized I would be better served to have my copy and graphic experimentations ready first.

ORGANIZE

REFLECTION
I chose to record the audio of my presentation and learned a lot by doing so. The first thing I noticed was that I lean on filler words A LOT. I know that the reliance on these words is related to presentation anxiety, but this is something I definitely would like to work on moving forward.
I received a lot of valuable feedback during my presentation that allowed me to hash out what I think this project could look like long term and how to improve the process of creation. I also was given some ideas for presentation of the final project at the Senior Show, and through this project am creating additional connections to make it happen.

My next step is to finalize the copy, start interviewing subjects, and get into the meat of the design process! Stay tuned✨
