Overall I realized that it's not just how your presentation looks or what information you have to say directly on each slide. It's about story telling. Although I rehearsed my slides, I think for the purpose of delivering a pitch I would have been more successful had I introduced imagery and told a real story.

In turn, I also was able to narrow my focus through this prompt. I knew I wanted to create a magazine, but I didn't know what I wanted to come out of that. Ultimately I realized the biggest goal for me was to establish community and an outlet for free self-expression.
